Annual Reports

The Telecare Services Association's Annual Report 2010-11 is positioned as an independent document for telecare and telehealth, with 6,000 copies distributed to policy makers and opinion formers across the UK.

With a society that has rapidly changing needs, the importance of telecare and telehealth services continues to grow, as does the need for discussion, debate and innovation. We have sought contributions from leading decision makers, policy makers and health experts to shape the discussions, and create debate, within these service areas.

Dr Richard Foggie of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills introduces the report with an overview of the social care industry and how the market itself is worth £24billion annually.  He also comments on the Government's 'Plan for Growth' which has committed them to help improve the take up of assisted living technology.
