Telecare Services Association

Supporting people with different needs

People of all ages and in different circumstances use telecare today.

Many companies insist that employees carrying out their work alone, often in strange surroundings, have a method of keeping in touch, and therefore safe. This is known as lone worker support.

Victims of domestic violence or those in witness protection programmes may also use telecare to ensure they are always able to contact the authorities who will help them in an emergency.

Vulnerable adults at risk from bogus callers, and people with dementia who may be easily confused, can also be helped by telecare services.
